Tabitha's love for music started with piano lessons from her mom when she was 4 years old.  Growing up, she sang in church and in the school choir.  Since high school she has sang with a few different bands, performed in musicals and has won singing contests in the northwest including:  Walla's "Hometown Idol", Milton Freewater's "Oasis Idol", Spokane's "Gimme the Mike" Contest, and was a finalist at Wildhorse Resort & Casino's X Factor auditions.  She even won 1st place during a singing contest on a Norwegian Sky Cruiseship to Alaska.  Tabitha spent a year touring the country with Re-Creation USA - "America's Ambassadors to Hospitalized Veterans", performing over 320 song and dance variety shows at VA hospitals nationwide.

Tabitha works full time as a hairstylist at Beehive Cut and Color Bar in Walla Walla, Washington.  She feels blessed to be able to do the things she loves and is honored to be the lead singer of Shanks Pony since 2012.

Jason originally wanted a saxophone for Christmas, but his parents thought their chances of having a grandson would vastly improve if they bought a drum set instead. Inspired by artists such as Danny Carey, John Bonham, and Carter Beuford, Jason brings a musical style that could only be described as “groundbreaking” and “other-worldly” to every performance. Although originally from Portland, OR, Jason has lived and performed up and down the West Coast with many talented musicians. When he’s not busy rocking, you can find him hanging out at the local prison and taking in the area wineries while assuring himself that a “tasting” is an excuse to drink at one in the afternoon.
